BECOME
A TRUSTEE
Volunteer to
become a Home-Start Trustee and help parents build better lives for their
children in your community.
Home-Start Stroud
& Dursley is an independent charity run by a group of trustees who
make sure that the charity is effective, providing overall direction and
maintaining sound management of funds.
Trustees come
from all walks of life, bringing their experience and individual skills
to our local scheme. The kind of skills that are in demand are business
or personnel management, finance and fundraising, IT and communications.
But you don't need special qualifications to be a trustee - common sense,
an ability to work as part of a team, an understanding of the pressures
facing parents today and a genuine interest in supporting parents in your
community are just as important.
An enhanced criminal
bureau record check is carried out on all volutneers
